Johnson's passion and commitment to education is equal to her raw determination
to excel in sports. She was a top scholar athlete at Arizona State University,
earning as many academic awards as she did athletic honors.
Johnson entered ASU as a winner of the Dial Award, given annually to
the nation's most outstanding female scholar athlete. She left ASU as
a winner of the prestigious NCAA Top Six Award for the nation's most
outstanding collegiate scholar athlete.
