Heptathlon
Johnson's accomplishments as a track and field star are distinguished and lengthy. This includes a U.S. Heptathlon 2nd place ranking for four consecutive years behind the legendary Jackie Joyner-Kersee.

During her collegiate athletic career Johnson has broken records and earned top rankings in the heptathlon and track and field events worldwide. She was recently inducted into the prestigious ASU Sports Hall of Fame. All of her heptathlon records still stand at ASU, even after 17 years.

It has been said by many respected individuals in the world of sports that the Sports Hall of Fame at ASU is one of the best, if not THE best, in the nation in terms of the number of sports represented and the quality of athletes in the hall.
